DC E-WISE: Data Center Energy and Water Information Simulator and Evaluator
A Multi-Criteria Decision Support Tool For Data Centers
This project, in collaboration with the Salt River Project (SRP), investigates the water-energy tradeoffs associated with new and existing datacenters (DCs) to reduce their environmental footprints and improve their sustainability in the greater Phoenix area. The outcome of this work is "DC E-WISE" a multi-criteria decision support tool (MCDST) that key stakeholders in the DC industry and utilities can use to better inform the water and energy tradeoffs in building energy design. The MCDST platform can transform how water and energy resources are managed in the greater Phoenix area. The tool is open sourced and available for download below.
